Yep.
Several times over.

Who can turn down a good deal on a great piece.
AR, AK, 870, 10\22 all seem to come my way.

Somebody has to give em a good home.

I refuse to own any rifle or handgun that I won't buy two of. In my mind, the best parts kit is a duplicate gun.

How else are you gonna dual wield?

ergo the question... to Dual Wield or to not Dual Wield? That is the question.

Yes. Two 870s, two M24/47s, and two 91/30s. They are like potato chips.

Yep, 2 22" M14s and 2 18" M14s.

Also have 5 M1s. 1 nice one from each manufacturer for admiring plus an extra Springfield for shooting.

And of course a couple 870s because if you're going to have a shotgun, it might as well be an 870. And if you get one "for the wife" it might as well be an 870 too.

Re: ever own 2 copies of the same gun????

Three M1 Garand rifles... Rule of threes.

Actually bought the third one for parts and or conversion to 7.62x51 NATO and it ended up staying as is, because it shot so good. It became my favorite.

I've no duplicates of any handgun, just several different models stashed around in case I run out in one I can switch to another and keep firing.

Re: ever own 2 copies of the same gun????

I have some similar guns but none are the same they are all serial numbered differently. Hence the "I don't have that one yet" excuse I am able to use with my wife!

Really if you like something it's not a sin have more than one.

I have two identical Mini's, except one is blue, the other stainless. My wife thinks I own one. She has seen both, at seperate times, and thinks its the same gun.:emotions16: Good thing she never looks in the safe!

Re: ever own 2 copies of the same gun????

Two M-1s, 1942 all original British LL. Decided I couldn't shoot it as it is a collector, so bought a 1950's H&R from CMP for $300. Shoots great.

I have two .357 lever guns...one Winnie, one Rossi M92, not exactly the same, but same concept.

Re: ever own 2 copies of the same gun????

Another consideration other than the two is one justification is that if you ever have to use your primary weapon in a self defense shooting, the police will absolutely hold it as evidence until you are cleared. This could take days, weeks or months. During that time period, with the possibility of the perps friends and or family looking for you, do you really want to be carrying a new/different gun that you may not be as proficient with? Bx3

Lots of people complain about TA. It's like complaining about Superman; it doesn't win you favors except in the Superman hating camp and who really wants to be in the Superman hating camp?
Besides, AMforPM asked for anything but bolded red so nowadays you get bolded blue from TA. I appreciate his consideration and I appreciate his emphasis. People have styles of communication.

Serial numbers xxx300, xxx301, xxx302... All Glock 22 RTF... Love the 'Dual Weilding' motivational poster. One of my favorites.

You can never have too many extra mags.

Plus the G22 can swap barrels and shoot .357 sig and then swap barrels and mags and shoot 9mm. So, three guns numbered sequentially that can all three shoot three calibers...

Attachment 87156

But then I had to sell everything to keep the house warm. DAM GLOBAL WARMING!!!

LOL I was thinking the same thing....

Plus if you do alot of upgrades and keep the stuff you took off, you can soon build yet another but all stock or factory outta your spare parts...

Next door neighbor is a member of my MV club, so no biggie there. There are only two others across the street on our cul-de-sac off a dead end.

The two 'ladies' across from us, well, they don't actually have a clue.

The other folks just don't seem to like the MV's in my driveway. BUT they are always appreciative of any help I've offered in the past.

Besides, like I said, I had to sell them to pay the bills to heat our house. DAM YOU GLOBAL WARMING!!!

I have 3 Firestar 9mm's. When they were being produced, they made excellent CCW pieces.
